Standard Biltong Machine

We know not all budgets can accomodate the handcrafted box, so we trialled ALL of the plastic ones that could be imported.

This is the best in terms of durability, the other cheaper plastic ones cracked or fell apart when checking the hanging beef!

The Biltong machine makes great Biltong, and  just took a day more to dry than our wooden one.

It ain’t pretty but it does a good job.

Details: polycarbonate food grade plastic dehydrating box, imported from South Africa. With capacity to hang up to 4 kilos of meat.

To clean the drip tray you can remove the bottom of the machine and then assemble.
